These IR thermometers are ideal for measuring food, as well as objects that are hard to reach, hazardous or moving. Non-intrusive measurements can be taken by simply pointing to the product or spot and holding down the appropriate key.If the core temperature of a product needs to be taken as well as the surface temperature, simply attach the supplied external probe to the meter for a 2-in-1 infrared thermistor thermometer.
