Interior-mounted, line-of-sight LCD information center displays status, data and component icons for at-a-glance monitoring of filter life remaining and alarm conditions. Filter monitor system consists of an electronically commutated motor (ECM) that is programmed to deliver a precise volume of air as required and automatically adjusts as filters load without relying on airflow sensors. Built-in ECM consumes 60% less energy which allows for cooler and quieter operation and more power for increased HEPA filter loading. Smart-Start System allows the user to program start-up and shut-down operations such as activation/deactivation of blower, fluorescent and UV lights when the sash is opened or closed. Night-Smart System idles the blower when the sash is fully closed to help maintain a clean, particulate-free environment inside the cabinet during periods of non-use.

Built-in interval or elapsed timer provides UV light control or experiment monitoring. Touchpad control on right-hand side post allows manual activation of blower, light timer, audible alarm mute and menu selection. The supply and exhaust HEPA filters are 99.99% efficient. Interitor also features two electrical duplex receptacles (single outlets on 230 volt models) located one on each side, with ground fault interruption and stainless steel slash covers. The clear ¹/₄” tempered safety glass stash is fully-closing with two small, sculpted sash handles and counterbalanced, anti-racking mechanism and 10 degree slope, 21.7” sash opening viewing height for visual accessibility. Liner is stainless steel with removable stamped one-piece dished work surface with two lift knob. The curved stainless steel inlet grille can serve as an armrest with Reserve-Air Secondary Airflow Slots to prevent airflow blockage. The bright, 90-100 footcandle, glare-free fluorescent lighting are located outside the contaminated work area for safe and easy replacement. The electronic security lock (optional activation) requires a code to operate the cabinet. Also features a trace odor carbon postfilter and a full three year manufacturer’s warranty on parts and service.
