The lab-scale Rotavapor R-215 has many features similar to the R-210. The difference between the Rotavapor R-215 and the R-210 is the additional display of the vapor temperature and the rotation speed for processes that require precise monitoring. A continuous vapor duct prevents cross-contamination and is particularly easy to dismantle and clean. The vacuum seal comprises a PTFE composite material and provides long service life and effective sealing. The proven combi-clip solves the problem of simple flask removal and the dismantling of the vapor duct. The heating bath, for water or oil, covers a wide temperature range from 20-180°C. A large, clear graphic display continuously shows the actual temperature and the temperature setpoint. Its small volume ensures that warm-up times are very quick. Thanks to the wireless power supply, it is not necessary to make or break connections when handling the bath. The high alloy steel pan is easy to clean. An optional protective shield can easily be fitted to the edge of the bath. A larger heating bath, designed for water use, covers a temperature range from 20-95°C. A large, clear graphic display continuously shows the actual temperature and the temperature setpoint. The wireless power supply eliminates the need to make or break connections when handling the bath. The high alloy steel pan is easy to clean. If necessary, all glass parts with the exception of the evacuator flask, can be furnished with a P + G (Plastic + Glass) coating.
Glass Assemblies
A range of glass assemblies are available to serve in a variety of applications. Glass assembly A is a digital condenser for standard distillations and can be used where height is limited. Evaporator flask feed is via a stopcock. Glass assembly C is a dry ice condenser for the distillation of solvents with low boiling points. No cooling water is necessary as maximum condensation is achieved due to low temperatures. The evaporating flask feed is via a stopcock. Glass assembly CR is a dry ice condener for the distillation of solvents with low boiling points also with reflux. No cooling water is necessary as maximum condensation is achieved due to low temperatures. The evaporating flask feed is via a stopcock. Glass assembly BY is a vertical condenser with an additional double jacket for cooling. This assembly provides efficient condensation and features an additional joint on top of the condenser for flexible expansion. The evaporating flask feed is via a stopcock and there is a connection for a vapor temperature sensor. Glass assembly V is a vertical condenser for standard distillations that requires minimal space. It has a connection for a vapor temperature sensor and evaporating flask feed is via a stopcock. Auto distillation is possible with a stage probe and vacuum controller. Glass assembly S is a vertical condenser with a shut-off valve for distillatiosn with reflux. The evaporating flask feed is via a stopcock and there is a connection for a vapor temperature sensor. Auto distillation is possible with stage probe and vacuum controller V-855. Glass assembly E is a descending condenser with an expansion vessel and is for distillation where foaming or bumping may occur. The evaporating flask feed is via a stopcock and there is a connection for a vapor temperature sensor.
