Type CF pH Indicators use individual plastic support strips which carry four different segments of dye-impregnated indicator papers. The resulting combination of color differences provides a clear and accurate visual pH value over a range of 4.5 to 10.
All dyes are chemically bonded to the paper and cannot be leached into solution, avoiding problems associated with sample contamination and anomalous readings.
