Thomas multi-purpose analog dry block heaters are ideal for incubation and activation of cultures, enzyme reactions, melting/boiling points, and a wide variety of other laboratory procedures. These economical, versatile, and compact block heaters are designed for applications that require repeatable results and superior temperature stability. These high wattage, constant-temperature block heaters are economical and versatile. Each unit requires minimum bench space and features convenient front-mounted temperature adjustment knobs.
Each model accepts separate interchangeable modular blocks, which accommodate various sample enclosures such as vials, microplates, PCR strips, and a wide variety of tubes. Blocks contain a thermometer well and feature close tube-and-block contact for maximum heat retentionand superior temperature stability. Blocks are anodized for corrosion resistance.
All units offer two separate temperature adjustment knobs providing reproducible low temperature and high temperature control. Low range knob adjusts from ambient to 100°C and high range knob adjusts from 75 to 150°C.
All 120V units are UL and C-UL listed and CE marked. All 230V units are CE marked.
