Kits are designed to comprise all necessary components. They allow you to choose the binding capacity and sample volume you need. The three chemistries - Protein A, Protein G for antibody purification and Metal Chelate (IMAC) for recombinant/his-tagged proteins - allow you to choose the optimal binding chemistry for your protein.
The spin column formats are extremely fast compared to gravity driven columns. The Midi kits allow users to purify protein from up to 20 mL of cleared lysate in less than 45 minutes. The Mini kits allow users to purify protein from up to 0.65 mL of cleared lysate in less than 15 minutes.
The Midi format binds up to 20 mg of purified protein and can be reused up to five times. The Mini columns bind up to 1 mg of purified protein and can be reused up to three times.
ProPur Mini Kits are based on microcentrifuge tubes. Working capacity is 20 mL and binding capacity is up to 20 mg protein.
ProPur Midi Kits are based on 50 mL centrifuge tubes. Working volume of these spin columns is 20 mL with binding capacity up to 20 mg protein.
