The Whole Cell Yeast PCR Kit is designed to release PCR-ready DNA from yeast colonies or liquid cultures with a single, 60 minute incubation.
The tough yeast cell wall is permeabilized enzymatically and the resulting cell suspension is used directly in the PCR reaction to obtain reproducible results without first purifying the DNA. Suitable for high throughput screening of yeast colonies.
