DTT (1, 4-Dithiothreitol) is an antioxidant used to stabilize enzymes and other proteins containing a sulfhydryl group. At high concentrations, it reduces disulfide bridges present in polypeptides and proteins. At low concentrations, it stabilizes enzymes having free sulfhydryl groups. Store at 4°C dry and protected from light.
