• Ready to clone vectors

pUC19 cloning vectors have been linearized and then dephosphorylated with bacterial alkaline phosphatase (BAP). An uncut vector is also available.
Purity and integrity of the structure (supercoiled, open, circular, linear) are checked by OD measurement at 260 and 280 nm, and by gel electrophoresis analysis. Dephosphorylation is checked by ligation and subsequent transformation (background determination). Integrity of the cloning site after linearization is checked by subsequent ligation re-cutting assay.
