The ELx808™ is a multi-channel reader designed for use in applications such as biotechnology research, cell counting, biology and proliferation, environmental, food processing, ELISA and Kinetic ELISA.
The ELx808’s on-board diagnostic self-test and calibration test plate make it simple to confirm and document reader performance. All calculations are performed automatically. On-board data analysis capabilities include data transformation formulas, assay and control validation, multiple assays per plate and a variety of curve fitting options.
Wavelength range is 380-900 nm. Absorbance range is 0.000 to 4.000 OD. Unit offers six filter capacity with four filters (405-, 450-, 490- and 630 nm) supplied (5 with UV option).
The unit offers fast kinetics with measurement intervals as short as six seconds. Kinetic rate, R2 or onset time is reported without requiring a PC.
Other features include linear well scanning for agglutination assays and 4-Zone™ temperature control to 50°C with a heated track/carrier design for minimal evaporation and edge effect.
The ELx808 incorporates a staggered optical design to eliminate channel-to-channel crosstalk.
A reference channel rolls the optical signal for uniform channel-to-channel signal.
The ELx808IU includes incubation and UV capability as well as an extended wavelength range of 340-900 nm.
