The ELx800™ Absorbance Microplate Reader is available in three models and is designed for applications within the clinical, biotechnology research and pharmaceutical areas.
The reader features extensive on-board data analysis capabilities with curve fitting options including linear, quadratic and 4-P, control and assay verification with complete results reporting, transformation formulas and cutoff and call criteria. Unit can store 55 assay definitions in memory (up to 75 custom assays). It will save 8 microplate test results and store up to 25 standard curves for reuse.
Wavelength range is 400-750 nm. Absorbance range is 0.000 to 3.000 OD. Unit offers five-filter capacity with 405-, 450-, 490- and 630 nm filters supplied.
ELx800NB version features optics and software to add reading capability for 384-well and 60-/72-/96-well Terasaki plates.
ELx800UV model provides optics to extend wavelength range down to 340 nm and includes a 340 nm filter.
The ELx800 interfaces with all Bio-Tek software packages including KC4™ and KCjunior™. KCjunior is a basic data reduction package for a broad range of research applications.
