Micro-Clean® 2-1-2 Opti-Soft™ Hood

Opti-Soft™ hood is made with a special proprietary process that transforms Tyvek® material into a soft, cloth-like fabric. Its as strong as the Tyvek you already know but is noticeable softer and more comfortable. The hood is 60% lighter than typical polyester, and the fabric breathes as well as filters 75% of particles as small as 0.5µ. Cleanroom processing and the 2-1-2 polyamide coating combine to reduce loose fibers and make the hood effective in meeting Class 10 cleanroom requirements. Adjustable ties make the hood one size fits all. Hoods are individually packed in antistatic poly bags under Class 10 cleanroom conditions.

Disposable Micro-Clean® hoods are easy to put on and are designed to provide maximum coverage for long hair, mustaches and beards. Constructed of Tyvek® material which has been treated to meet the most demanding conditions, they feature large shoulder shrouds for effective closure at the neck, plus ties which permit comfortable adjustment. One size fits all. Full face and eyes-only openings are available. Head covers are individually packed in an antistatic, puncture-resistant poly bag under Class 100 cleanroom conditions.

Micro-Clean® Essentials hoods for controlled environments are made of soft, nonwoven Tyvek® material for durability and cloth-like comfort. These hoods provide excellent barrier properties and splash protection and feature bound seams to eliminate raw edges. Hoods are clean processed and one size fits all. Each hood is individually multi-level packed under Class 10 cleanroom conditions.

Tyvek® hood has long side panels for complete coverage of hair and sideburns. Durable Tyvek material provides strength. Hoods uses string-style ties which will adjust hood to fit.
