All Eppendorf Mastercycler ep thermomodules are characterized by extremely fast heating and cooling rates. Their heated lid technology (ESP-Electronic Sample Protection) avoids the preheating of samples and minimizes unspecific annealing. The Impulse PCR feature on the Mastercycler Gradient S enables a device-driven Hot Start and SteadySlope technology ensures that heating and cooling rates are identical in both gradient and normal operation. General product features include control with control panel or PC software, manual or motorized lid, serial printer and CAN-bus interfaces.
