Six, flat-bottomed wells are treated for improved cell attachment and growth. Wells have number designations and are completely separated to prevent cross-contamination of samples. Reservoirs between wells can be filled with water to reduce evaporation of media. Notches on cover and plate ensure proper positioning of cover. Cover design allows constant air flow or assembly can be sealed with tape for anaerobic operation. Special treatment provides the ideal surface for the successful attachment and growth of cells.
Wet dimensions: 35 mm diameter at top x 17.3 mm deep; capacity 16.5 mL; cultural area 9.6 cm². Overall dimensions: 88 x 132 mm. 6900A10 plates are individually wrapped and 690012 plates are packaged in packs of 5.
