This highly advanced high-throughput thermal cycler is a gradient version of the TC-412. Graphical display shows sample temperature profile while the program is running, including the upper and lower limits of the gradient. This pictorial, real-time representation means instant visualization. The TC-512 accepts SmartMedia memory cards for security and flexible storage. Unit also has a gradient calculator function, which displays the temperature of each column of tubes, ensuring replication of experimental conditions. Maximum heating rate of 3°C/sec and block uniformity of <±0.3°C, with or without gradient. Each block consists of eight Peltier units, controlled by four independent temperature thermistors distributed evenly across the block for exceptionally accurate linear gradient control. Gradient range is 20 to 70°C, temperature range is 4 to 99°C.
