DigiDoc-It imaging system is designed to capture and document high-quality images of gels, plates and membranes. The system combines a 5.1 megapixel digital color camera with comprehensive software featuring complete camera controls, image enhancement, annotation and archiving capability. Software is intuitive, easy to use and has many features for maximizing image output. Users can define image resolution, color settings, 4x zoom lens (5.7-22.8 mm), automatic and manual focus, file format and other parameters. Camera also features fast processing speed and high speed sequential image capture capability. DigiDoc-It software is compatible with Windows 98, ME and 2000 computers with USB interface.
The enclosure is made of durable plastic and features a door to provide easy access to the transilluminator surface. Enclosure cap protects the camera from laboratory elements and opens for access to the camera. A soft rubber viewport allows visibility of UV fluorescence of gels prior to image capture and protects the eyes from UV exposure. Sliding shield eliminates ambient light. Optional drawer is designed for use with compact benchtop transilluminators which fit inside for storage and slide out when in use. Transilluminator not included. See Thomas 6285A02-A56 series.
