Narrow, 13" width saves valuable bench space. Three evaporation modes (aqueous, alcohol, off) correspond with sample solvent and reduce processing time up to 20%. Automatic vacuum release prevents sample loss from bumping and foaming. User can choose from four heating levels (30, 45, 60°C and ambient) for safe and efficient concentration of a variety of samples. All pump functions including vacuum release and evaporation modes are fully controlled by the concentrator. Basic unit connects to existing vacuum source and trap. Complete system comes with solvent-resistant PTFE vacuum pump and vapor trap. Built-in pump has 1.7 m3/h capacity and produces <20 hPa (<20 mbar) maximum vacuum.
The Model 5301 also has a desiccator mode allowing the use of the heated chamber and vacuum system to dry samples without engaging the spinning rotor.
