Model 250 Analog Unit
• Transducer-activated titanium horn, with tapered end to accept replaceable tips and external threads for the attachment of chambers, provides up to 200 watts of effective power at immersion end; resultant intense cavitation produces rapid, efficient disruption of cells in bacteriological and cytological studies
• Automatic frequency control circuitry continuously monitors the power required to maintain the preset amplitude under varying load conditions
• Adjustable power output allows control of the intensity of ultrasonic vibrations transmitted into a solution, enabling the disruption of one compound while leaving others intact
When changing from standard horn to special tips, available separately, the power supply is automatically tuned to optimum performance levels. Pulser mode applies ultrasonic energy to a solution at a rate of one pulse per second. Pulse duration is adjustable from 0.1 to 0.9 seconds to enable processing at full ultrasonic intensity while limiting temperature. Internal sensing circuitry prevents overheating or damage to the instruments or components. Slanted front panel has meter that indicates the percentage of ultrasonic power being emitted. Front panel controls include: output control knob with reference graduations; timer, range from 1 to 15 minutes settable in 1-minute intervals with hold position; duty cycle knob to set pulser mode from 10 to 90% in increments of 10% or constant position; and on/off switch with pilot lamp. Power supply is 425 x 187 x 213 mm high. Transducer-horn assembly is tapered to 1/2” at immersion end.
System consists of power supply, 9655S20 Disruptor Horn, 1/2” diameter, 9655U85 Flat Tip and 9655U70 Wrench. With three-wire cord and plug for 117 Volts, 50/60 Hz; 600 watts.
Model 450 Analog Unit
Similar to 9655R10, but provides up to 400 watts of effective power at immersion end. 9655R20 Disruptor includes 9655S20 Disruptor Horn, 1/2” diameter, 9655U85 Flat Tip and 9655U70 Wrench. 9655R30 Disruptor includes 9655S80 Disruptor Horn, 3/4” diameter, with solid tip and 9655U70 Wrench. With three-wire cord and plug for 117 volts, 50/60 Hz; 600 watts.
9655R50 Special EPA Package Method includes: 450 Sonifier Cell Disruptor, 102 Converter and 1/2” diameter Disruptor Horn Tapped End, 3/4” Disruptor Horn with Solid End, Tool Kit, Manual and Tapered 1/8” Microtip For 1/2” Tapped Horn.
