Meet the requirements of the FDA for use in direct contact with food and drugs. Sponges are ideal for storing food/pharmaceutical samples, PC boards, optics, chemicals and equipment. Drying capability depends on volume, temperature and moisture. Outer material is made from DuPont Tyvek® “breathable” high density polyethylene. Indicator bags have one side of clear film and one side of white Tyvek. They contain a blue indicating gel which turns to pink when the desiccant is expended. It cannot be regenereated.
Regenerable bags have white Tyvek on both sides and may be regenerated and reused. Regeneration requires heating in an oven at 220°F. Included in each pack is a relative humidity card, which changes from blue to pink to show when the bags need to be regenerated.
