    Thomas Scientific has experienced significant growth and is seeking a Category Manager to join our Marketing team to manage multiple product lines including, but not limited to chemical, private label and proprietary lines.     •Develop and manage supplier relationships

    •Develop and execute marketing plans to ensure profitable growth, margin objectives, and market expansion

    •Develop and manage products, establish objectives, marketing plans and product positioning strategies

    •Generate revenue via media program, rebate programs and margin expansion goals to meet supplier/product growth goals, and measure effectiveness of same

    •Negotiate with and set up new suppliers, product lines and SKU’s

    •Negotiate with suppliers for better discount structures and volume discounts

    •Provide product trainings, literature, and promotions for the end-user and to support the sales team

    SUMMARY: The A/R & A/P Representative – Floater is responsible for assisting the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departmentsby providing financial, administrative and clerical support to both, based upon daily demands.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provides copies of invoices and proof of deliveries to customers upon request

    • Makes collection calls to delinquent accounts

    • Serves as a back-up for the posting of cash

    • Assists with international accounts

    • Files purchase orders and other documents

    • Opens mail and distributes to appropriate accounting personnel

    • Requests tax exempt certifications which are required in order to release orders
