Racks may be placed in freezer or water bath. Regardless of support position used, footprint is small enough to be conveniently used under a hood or on the benchtop. Seven different colors allow racks to be color coded by experiment or user. Small rack can hold four 50 mL conical tubes; twelve 15 mL conical tubes; thirty-two 12-mm diameter tubes or 1.5/2.0 mL microtubes or thirty-two 0.5 mL microtubes. Small rack footprint is 2 x 7 or 3 1/2 x 7 inches.
