Rheostat Control Heater

Heavy-duty rheostat provides stepless wattage selection 0?550W. Settings are repeatable via the reference scale. Cooling vents in the housing and a radiation shield protect the rheostat from exposure to heat. Dimensions: 12.7 W x 16.5 D x 19 H cm (5x 6.5 x 7.5 inches). Rapid heat open coil design with durable polished stainless steel housing. These heaters accommodate round-bottom or flat-bottom flasks, and are furnished with a porcelain refractory top, 7.9cm (3.125 inches) diameter hole, reversible for 500, 800, and 1000mL flasks. Tops for smaller flasks can be ordered separately. Durable nickel-chromium coil heater with stainless steel terminals is mounted in a porcelain refractory. Units will bring 450mL water at room temperature to boil in 10 minutes.

All models supplied with dovetail clamps for attaching the heater to a support rod. Accessory tops for smaller flasks are made of porcelain refractory material, 12x12 cm (4.75 x 4.75 inches); holes are flared for flat or round-bottom glassware.
