Feature a solid-state electronic feedback control that adapts to sudden changes in ambient or sample temperatures
Stirring speed: 60 to 1200 rpm
Sample temperatures can be controlled within ±2°C (3.6°F) of setpoint
Prevent boil-overs, ruined samples and lost time
Heat metal vessels and sandbaths without damaging ceramic tops
Applications include the preparation of temperature sensitive media or solutions, food analysis, organic synthesis/research and viscosity/solidification point testing. Motors produce maximum stirring torque which, when combined with a powerful magnet, provide exceptional magnetic coupling with a stir bar. Solid ceramic top is easy-to-clean and corrosion-resistant and remains perfectly flat to ensure maximum heat transfer. Reflective bright white color makes sample viewing easy.
Digital display shows temperature and stirring speed simultaneously. Separate on/off switch does not disturb temperature and speed settings. Last setpoint is stored in memory and appears when the unit is switched on again. Optional type K immersion probe helps to maintain a precise solution temperature. Ring stand holder accommodates a standard 1/2” (12.7 cm) diameter support rod to aid in securely positioning the temperature probe. Four- place models feature synchronized stirring of all four positions at the same speed.
