Rectangular canted neck cell culture flasks have been treated with a patented Corning® CellBIND surface treatment for optimal cell attachment. Manufactured from optically clear virgin polystyrene, they are sterilized by gamma irradiation and certified nonpyrogenic. Flasks are100% integrity tested and feature printed lot numbers for ease in traceability.
Canted neck flasks allow easier pouring and improved access to the flask for pipetting or scraping. Rectangular flasks have a ramp from the bottom to the canted neck for easier pouring and pipette access.
Vent caps contain a 0.2 µm nonwettable membrane sealed to the cap, providing consistent, sterile gas exchange while minimizing the risk of contamination. These caps are highly recommended for use in all CO2 incubators, especially for long-term use.
