Uses measured pressure, torsion and time to determine if a coating is dry
Easy to use
Conforms to BSEN, ISO 29117
Determines “Through-Dry State” — when the film is not marked or damaged throughout the film thickness and “Through-Dry Time”— time between film application and achievement of through-dry state. Device rubs a rubber plunger wrapped in Nylon gauze onto a “dry” coated test piece at 1500 g for 10 seconds. Under the 1500 g of pressure, the plunger is rotated 90° for two seconds. If the coating is not completely dry, the test panel will immediately show damage or marking. Gauze squares (4” x 4”) and retaining rings must be changed for each test. Replacements are available, see below. Dimensions: 255 L x 255 W x 310 H mm. Weight: 9 kg. Power requirements: 110 V, 60 Hz
