Traceable to NIST standards and available in a variety of packaging selections. Provide a tolerance of ±0.01 pH at 25°C and the bottle label provides temperature correction data from 0° to 50°C. All Thomas buffers offer improved record keeping and documentation with two year shelf life (unopened), manufacturing lot codes, expiration out-dates and fill-in-the blank sections for date received and date opened. The pint and quart buffer bottles come with an inner cone cap to prevent leaking. 19 liter sizes are supplied in a cube shaped, cardboard encased polyethylene container with a spout.

 • Ready-to-use, boric acid-potassium chloride-sodium hydroxide solution, pH 9.00, ±0.02 at 25°C

pH 10

 • Ready-to-use, sodium carbonate-sodium bicarbonate solution, pH 10.00, ±0.01 at 25°C

 • Traceable to NIST SRM 191a and 192a

Labels give pH values at temperatures from 0° to 50°C.

Color-Coded Solutions

A minute amount of colorant in these solutions provides immediate visual identification: red for pH 4, yellow for
pH 7, blue for pH 10.

 • 0.01 pH unit tolerance at 25°C

 • Color-coding reduces probability of error in pH meter calibration checks, preventing gross errors in measurement
