Micro-sized cell homogenizer for small samples

Simple to use, yet powerful with a 0.6 AMP motor that is tough enough to crush samples such as bone or microbial spores. Cell disrupter uses 0.1 mm beads for bacteria; 0.5 mm beads for yeast, algae and tissue culture cells; and 1.0 mm beads for plant and animal tissue. Touch pad controls speed and length of homogenization.

Comes complete with 12 vials; a ¹/₄ pound each of 0.1 mm, 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm glass beads; a ¹/₄ pound each of 0.1 and 0.5 zirconia/silica beads; motor with timer; instructions; and a safety shield.

Optional 2 mL polypropylene vial and cap are offered separately, 100 in a foam rack. Motor is 115 VAC, 60 Hz, 0.62 amp with 3-wire grounded cord.
