A cost effective alternative to quartz
- UV-transparent
- Application between 220 nm and 900 nm
- Fits nearly all commercial photometers
- Superior chemical-resistance
Disposable cuvettes are ideal for analysis of DNA, RNA and proteins, replacing expensive fragile quartz cuvettes. They eliminate the tedious chore of cleaning quartz cuvettes and eliminate cross-contamination risk. Recessed windows prevent scratching in the optical pathway, and the cuvettes are delivered grouped by manufacturing mold cavity number to ensure the lowest variation in extinction coefficient. Select macro or semi-micro models for routine analyses where conservation of sample is not an issue. NEW ultra-micro size has a 70 µL sample volume for molecular biology applications. Consult your spectrophotometer's operating manual to select the correct Z-dimension cuvette. These can be used with most popular organic solvents, as well as acids and bases, and are compatible with chemicals such as acetone, butanone, DMF and concentrated hydrochloric acid.
