- Tissue-culture treated polystyrene
- Flat bottom, with lid
- 120 µl total well capacity
The growth surfaces are tissue-culture treated to create a consistent hydrophilic surface for cell attachment, spreading and growth. Tissue-culture treatment processes are validated by a sensitive clonogenic assay and they are routinely checked using a 72-hour confluency test. Unique square wells with beveled edges minimize wicking due to capillary effects and reduce air entrapment in well bottom. Thin injection molded, flat bottom surface for consistent light transmission and imaging. Well surface area is 10.9 mm2; typical working volume is 25-90 mL Consistent dimensions and binding characteristics for low well-to-well % CV's. Base does not have serrations, allowing bar coding of any side. Supplied sterile, with lid. The one-way fit lid has notches at A1 and P1 corners of plate. Easy-open bag does not generate particulates for sterile presentation of products.
Black/clear plates are recommended for bottom reading instruments, including the Molecular Devices FLIPR®.
White/clear plates are recommended for cell based luminescence and fluorescence assays with top or bottom reading instruments.
