Case snaps onto holder to be used as a handle. Thermometer is not replaceable. Mercury (9328T05 through T25) or red spirit filled (9328T50 through T70) and nitrogen topped. Stem diameter 6 to 7 mm ( 9/32”); length 152 mm (6”). White scale.
