Design consists of body, plug assembly and handle. Plug and O-ring seals are TFE coated to provide lubrication between plug assembly and the body bore. Valve features very low torque operation. Intermediate valve positions allow forward flow throttling. Straight-through flow minimizes pressure loss. System pressure acts on equal body seal areas to prevent unbalanced plug load.
