Thomas specialty microcentrifuge tubes are designed to provide secure, leakproof seals while remaining easy to open. Polypropylene tubes are autoclavable to 120°C at 15 psi for 15 minutes and are freezable to -80°C. Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) tubes are non-autoclavable. LDPE is soft and easily cut to remove pellets.
