Gilson’s Silent Sifter® ll is another proven Rotary Sifter from Gilson for accurate and efficient sieving tests. This model sets a new standard for controlling harmful noise output in the laboratory while delivering accurate particle separations.

This proven sieving method preferred by many DOT’s is made safer and more reliable using specially engineered and advanced soundproofing design. The Silent Sifter ll® is 16 to 18dB quieter than standard rotary sifters, and 8 to 10dB quieter than even our own Silent Sifter®.

8in, 12in, 200mm or 300mm diameter test sieves can be used in this model with sieve stack capacity up to six 12in diameter full-height sieves with pan, or twenty 8in diameter half-height sieves with pan. The sieve stacks are simply placed inside, and the cabinet is tilted back, no clamping is required. Sieves are rotated while active tapping assists particle separation. The 99-minute digital countdown timer with large LED display precisely times operation, and pause function and user-selectable modes offer greater versatility. Settings are saved between cycles for precise repeatability and easy, one-button operation. Precision-machined MDF board cabinet seals tightly to control bot noise and dust levels for safe, clean and quiet operation. The floor stand of the Silent Sifter® II includes 4in hard rubber locking casters.
