- The Gilson Rotary Sifter carries forward classic design and adds our own innovations. This proven sieving method for dry granular materials and powders is preferred by many DOT's.
Fast conversion from 8 to 12in or 200 to 300mm diameter sieves, easy operation and quieter running. Sieve stack capacity ranges from six 12in (305mm) diameter full-height sieves with pan, or up to twenty 8in (203mm) diameter half-height sieves with pan.
Sieve stacks are simply placed inside and the cabinet is rotated back against the stops; no clamping required. The sieve stack is continuously rotated with separation assisted by tapping hammers. The digital countdown timer with large LED display controls operation at ±1 second for up to 99 minutes. A pause function and user-selectable modes offer greater versatility. Settings are saved between cycles for precise repeatability and easy, one-button operation. The rugged, totally enclosed painted cabinet is dense, impact-resistant MDF board, CNC machined for precise fit, allowing safe, dust-free operation. An ergonomic side knob allows easy rotation of the cabinet between the loading and testing positions.
Optional 4in hard rubber Locking Swivel Casters may be purchased separately for installation on the Rotary Sifter Floor Stand.
Locking Casters are a convenient optional accessory for the Gilson Rotary Sifter. The 4in (102mm) diameter hard rubber casters attach quickly to the frame of the Sifter and roll easily for repositioning in the lab.
