Ahlstrom's BioSample TFN cards are intended for the collection of small volume biological samples that will be used for protein and peptide analysis.
BioSample TFN cards are made of high purity cellulose and provide a rapid and safe way to collect, transport, and store biological samples, including blood. After short-term storage at ambient temperature, proteins and peptides can easily be extracted from the biosamples for subsequent analysis. The paper is untreated, eliminating possible interferences from a chemical treatment and allowing for a simpler extraction process.
BioSample TFN cards are recommended for short-term storage of less than six months.
Available in a standard card format of 5 printed circles for sample collection and a cover part for sample identification.
