General description: Dehydrated, purified fresh bile which is used as a selective inhibitory agent in bile media. Ox-bile desiccated is prepared by a low temperature dehydration process which ensures a uniform product and eliminates the difficulties encountered in obtaining satisfactory supplies of fresh bile. An 8 to 10% solution of the dehydrated product is equivalent to fresh bile. 1 gram of dried Ox Bile is equivalent to 8 grams of fresh bile.
