On rising through the washing or drying medium it is thereby washed or dried and passes out of the bottle through the side tube of the bottle stopper. Both inlet and outlet tubes accept 1/4 inch I.D. flexible tubing. The 125 mL size is sometimes referred to as a "Dreschel" type.
