Carb-N-Sert® tips are made of tungsten carbide, the hardest steel made for surgical instruments.
Serrations are precision milled into the tungsten carbide material and form pyramid-shaped teeth to provide a positive non-slip grip. Tissue forceps feature precision formed teeth with perfect alignment to provide a durable and reliable grasp of the most delicate or toughest tissue, as well as needles, suture, dressing and delicate vessels.
Miltex® Forceps with tungsten carbide jaws provide considerably longer service life and will maintain a firm and reliable grasping surface.
