- Composed of cellulose regenerated from cotton linters, offered in various pore sizes with molecular weight cutoffs (MWCO) ranging from 1,000 to 50,000
- Contains glycerol added as a humectant which can be removed by soaking and washing in water
Contains small amounts of impurities, most of which can be removed by washing in water: 0.1% sulfur content and trace amount of heavy metals can be removed using cleaning solutions available on special order
CAUTION: dry tubing should be stored at 35% relative humidity at 23°C (73 to 74°F). Once tubing has been wetted, it should not be allowed to dry out as this will change the molecular weight cutoff. Tubing supplied wet should be refrigerated.
