Sulfites are used to remove dissolved oxygen from the treatment water. Excess sulfite at elevated temperature combines with oxygen to reduce pitting. Remember to cool your samples quickly and perform the test immediately. Each kit is packaged in a durable plastic case and includes all items to complete approximately 60-75 tests.
