Manufactured from optically-clear virgin polystyrene and treated for optimal cell attachment, 100 mm culture dishes are sterilized by gamma radiation and certified non-pyrogenic. Treated culture dishes have stacking beads to aid in handling and are supplied with vents to provide consistent gas exchange. Approximate growth surface area is 55 cm2, the round 100 cm2 size while the actual inside growth surface diameter is 80.5 mm. Height is 20 mm. 100 cm2 size is packaged in 6-pack carriers. For the square 500 cm2 size, approximate growth surface area is 500 cm2 and the actual internal growth surface dimensions is 224 x 224 mm. Height is 25 mm. Version with Spillguard protects against media spills during handling and transport to incubator.
