When transparency or reduced gas permeability are important, ask for the Dynalon 6 Gallon PET carboy.
Made from 100% pure food grade PET resin, the product contains no plasticizers or BPA. A wide 4 inch mouth provides easy access for cleaning, sanitizing and filling. Molded graduations mark the 5 and 6 gallon levels.
This carboy is available with and without a PP spigot making it convenient for storage and dispensing of aqueous solutions or for fermentation. As there are no ribs in the design, the carboy has smooth internal and external sides that prevent yeast or bacteria from adhering to the product walls. Carboy is taste and odor free, stain resistant and has excellent gas barrier properties that help prevent oxidation and spoilage.
Each case of 1 each includes instructions on cleaning and sanitizing along with several accessories for use in fermentation applications. These are:
- 2 Polypropylene screw closures, one with a hole that accepts a #10 stopper
- 1 No. 10 silicone rubber stopper with a hole (useful for a 3 piece fermentation lock)
- 1 EPDM O-ring that can be inserted into the closure for additional security against leakage
Each of the included parts are available as accessories.

1166C17: Large red o-ring for use with the PP closure of the PET Carboy; provides additional security against leakage and gas exchange.
