Red Caps fit EMPTY FASTPREP® Tubes and are used in Fastprep systems, to hold sample for Homogenization. Available separately for those who wish to fill their own Lysing Matrix Tubes.
Use with Empty FastPrep Tubes. Add sample to empty tube, add appropriate Lysing Matrix material and lysing buffer, and apply cap. Process using FastPrep instrument or other bead-beater to lsye, grind or homogenize sample.
