The Biowave II diode array spectrometer uses pre-defined methodologies for nucleic acid quantification (DNA, RNA and oligionucleotides), protein assays (BCA, Biuret, Bradford and Lowry) and cell culture density measurements.
Instrument uses Gifford optics for high energy combined with a Xenon long-life lamp. The system is compatible with disposable, low volume cuvettes.
The unit features wavelength scanning, kinetics and concentration functionality with a full graphics display.
