Easy-Read® Thermometers are:
- Filled with environmentally safe non-toxic, non-hazardous, biodegradable Enviro-Safe ® liquid, EnviroKleen™ certified by ChemTel, an independent laboratory, dyed black against yellow back glass, the highest contrast combination for ease of readability and prevention of reading errors
- Comparable in accuracy to mercury filled thermometers, but are 100% environmentally safe
- Tested and calibrated in H-B’s exclusive, triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2005, A2LA accredited, laboratory against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST and/or DKD/PTB (Europe)
- Accurate to the requirements of ANSI/SAMA Z236.1-1983, ASTM, NIST, DKD and/or equivalent standards
- Calibrated for partial or total immersion
- Available in 8”, 12”, 14”, 16” or convenient pocket thermometer lengths
- Individually packaged in Safety-Pak™ packaging to prevent breakage
- +/- 1° accuracy or better

Information is then entered into H-B’s exclusive calibration database - recalibration notices are sent automatically
