Disruptor Horns with external threads (9655S15 to S30)
- For use with Branson Models 250 and 450 Cell Disruptors

Offered in two types, tapped and solid. Tapped horns have 1/4-20 female thread at tip for attachment of 9655U85 Flat Tip or 9655V15, 9655V20 or 9655V25 series Micro Tips. Tips must be purchased separately. Solid horns are not tapped and are not usable with accessory tips. 9655S15 Horn has scale graduated to 3 cm in 1 mm increments.
1/2” Disruptor Horn (9655S20)
- Standard horn furnished with Branson 250 & 450
- 1/2" diameter tip with replaceable tip. (separate tip #9655U85)
1/2” Exponential Horns (9655S50 and S55)
- For use with Branson Models 250 and 450 Cell Disruptors
- Titanium, exponential in shape; tip diameter: 1/2”
9655S50 Horn is tapped with 1/4-28 female thread to take 9655U90 Flat Tip, which must be purchased separately. 9655S55 Horn is solid.
1/2” Catenoidal Horn (9655S70)
- For use with Branson Models 250 and 450 Cell Disruptors
- Of titanium, catenoidal in shape; tip diameter: 1/2”

- As furnished with Branson® Model 450 (Thomas number 9655R30) Cell Disruptor, also usable with Model 250

Cup Horns (9655T55 to T60)
- For use with Branson Models 450 Cell Disruptor
- Parabolic configuration provides maximum ultrasonic intensity
- Liquid in cup conveys ultrasonic energy through wall of small test tube to solution being processed, permitting materials to be treated under sterile conditions
9655T25 Cup Horn is flow-through type, with flat-faced horn enclosed in transparent plastic body. Diameter: 2";. 9655T35 and Diameter: 3";. 9655T60 Cup Horn is flow-through type, with flat-faced horn enclosed in transparent plastic body. Diameter: 3";. 9655T60 and Diameter: 1" Cup Horn is high-intensity, flow-through type. Horn is attached to titanium transducer and mounted upside down.
Water Jacketed Tissue Disruptor Horn (9655V65)
- Stainless steel
- For use with Branson® Model 250 and 450 Cell Disruptors for the disintegration of difficult tissues
- Cell bottom holds up to 6 grams of tissue
Water jacket has inlet and outlet tubulations for connection to suitable external circulator.
