Benchmark’s Overhead Stirrers feature advanced LCD controls for accurate display of both speed and run time. The stirrers include a support stand complete with mounting hardware. The mixer is easily attached at the desired height for compatibility with a wide range of vessels (up to 24 inches tall). The stand and 4-arm propeller are included. A wide range of optional propellers and paddles are available separately. Each of these mixing accessories is available in stainless steel or inert Teflon. All accessories are easily attached to the mixer without tools or hardware. To guard against potential corrosion when using hazardous or corrosive solutions, a cover fits over the connection mechanism to protect the unit and improve the long-term safety and reliability of the instrument.
One line propeller, stainless steel
- The straight line, stainless steel propeller type mixing paddle measures 50mm end to end. Useful for mixing low to medium viscosity samples. For use with the Benchmark Overhead Stirrers.
Centrifugal impeller, stainless steel
- The stainless steel folding paddle has two blades that collapse down for inserting into flasks and other narrow containers, and expand to a maximum of 90mm during stirring. Useful for mixing at high and medium speeds. Fits the Benchmark Overhead Stirrers.
Paddle w/flat holes, stainless steel
- The stainless steel flat paddle with holes is used for applications requiring mild stirring. For use at medium and low speeds, the paddle is 68mm wide. Fits the Benchmark Overhead Stirrers.
4 arm propeller, stainless steel
- The four arm impeller is made of stainless steel and is used for medium and high speed stirring of medium and low viscosity samples. The diameter of the blades is 65mm. For use with the Benchmark Overhead Stirrers.

- The straight line, Teflon coated propeller type mixing paddle measures 70mm end to end. Useful for mixing low viscosity samples. For use with the Benchmark Overhead Stirrers.
