EchoTherm™ hot plates have a membrane keypad and LCD screen that simultaneously displays all parameters. Sensor, built into heater plate, maintains temperature to within 1°C. Rugged aluminum chasis and soft, vinyl cover protect unit from spills and dirt. Ceramic glass top is impervious to most chemicals and will heat to 450°C in about 2 minutes. Heater power is 600 watts. Aluminum top is ideal for evenly heating solids and heats to 400°C in approximately 5 minutes. Both surfaces are 8" x 8". Units come with 6', detachable AC line cord, fuse holder, main On/Off switch and instruction manual. Immersion probes monitor and control the sample temperature for even solution heating (see 8615A30-A39), probe calibration kit (8615A42) and factory-installed RS-232 (8615A45) are available.
