The 600-watt heater features LO and HIGH positions for quick settings and smooth infinite control between the two points. Temperature is regulated to 2.5°C. Solid state heating controls are placed well forward of the heater surface to prevent accidental burns. Plate surface measures 8" x 8". Rugged aluminum chasis is painted with a chemically-resistant epoxy paint and is designed to keep spills out of the case.
