Sample is placed in mill cavity, the two mill halves are pressed together and rotated in opposite directions. Mill is durable and corrosion resistant. Clearance between cutting heads is adjustable; factory preset at 0.004”. Cutting heads are replaceable. Cutting head diameter: 0.625”; overall dimensions: 1.5” H x 2” Dia. Chamber volume: 0.3 mL when blade gap is 1/16”.
